Organization, production and realization of the multidisciplinary event “El Globo de Juan # 1”.

El Globo de Juan is a cultural association dedicated to the organization, coordination and production of multidisciplinary cultural events, with a strong experimental character, with the aim of promoting young creators from or related to the Iberian Peninsula, thus generating a platform of encounter and communication that encourages exchanges between the two countries.

El Globo de Juan # 1 took place in the Cultural Association La Casa de los Jacintos, in Madrid on May 24, 2008. It was attended by more than two dozen Portuguese and Spanish artists and an affluence of about 250 people. Participants were selected through an open call to artists from any area and free theme.

O artista desenhou à mão uma primeira figura e desafiou o público a “fotocopiá-la” também à mão, aportando cada pessoa a sua interpretação pessoal da imagem original.

Christian Leibenger – “Photoshop killed the photocopier star”

The artist drew by hand a first figure and challenged the public to “photocopy” it also by hand, giving each person their personal interpretation of the original image.
